Sebastian Inlet State Park

Leaving Anastasia State Park was not an easy choice, if wasn’t raining I would have for sure stayed there a few more days. Made my way down the coast and to Sebastian Inlet State Park. A beautiful park and a fisherman’s paradise for sure, but not much more happening here. It also was raining again, so more inside time.

Another shot from a bridge – The campground was on that little inlet
watching the waves here was amazing, yes storm moving in again
there were two entrances to the park – tiny beach on opposite side of the campground
was hoping this was a better shot of all the seagulls
see these signs everywhere, but have not yet seen one of these guys

The only reason I’d stay at this park again would be for the beaches. The access was down a way from the campground so not really that accessible without driving. ****Note for future or other travelers this is the only campground on the entire inlet.

storm was coming again!

It was still raining in the morning but as I was heading south down the inlet there were those nice beaches. I was able to catch only about 10 minutes on the beach and the rain came in again like crazy…

guess you get private beaches when it’s rainy weather!

But other than the beaches this park didn’t offer much for me to do. Again, if you are a fisherman, this place is perfect for you. The good thing is almost all of the campsites were facing the water, so I had a nice view!
