Sunrise Hike

One of the joys of my life is my doggie business. For those of you that are just learning about me, I care for doggies in their own homes and have been doing this for almost ten years. I started out caring for older doggies that needed a lot of care and it just continued from there.

To me it’s wonderful because I can take them hiking, swimming, and in the winter backcountry skiing. Caring for the doggies becomes part of my life during the time that I’m with them. I view this role more than playing with doggies. I am entrusted with several of the owners priced and loved possessions including access to their home. I am responsible and liable for anything that happens to their dog and home while in my care. I don’t take this responsibility lightly and make ever attempt to fully respect the owner’s privacy and requests.

Most of my clients are in Summit County, Colorado but as I travel hopefully, I can care for some doggies along the way.

I was so grateful to have two of my favorite doggie clients when I returned from my Vanfest/Yellowstone Trip. This was one of our many wonderful sunrise hikes. They were sound asleep when we got to the trail head, so darn cute. A beautiful morning for sure.
