People Are Born Originals-Most Die As A Copy

THINKING THURSDAY: Each Thursday will be learning about “An Enemy Called Average”. As the author states we are called to stand out, not blend in and we are called to not settle for a life of average or mediocrity but an extraordinary life.

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

Galatians 6:4-5 
Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else, for each one should carry their own load.

THOUGHTS ON TODAY’S NUGGET

Hello my friends, yes there has been a delay and break in my posts. I apologize for the gap. I got distracted looking at homes, to actually buying a house, and moving, setting up home etc. But today in the New Year I’m going to start back in with our nuggets!

Oh goodness just the title of this one ruffles my feathers, because I do not like seeing women try to be someone they are not, just to fit in. We are all uniquely created by God to be ourselves.

• Each of us have a unique and different call on our lives. So therefor you can’t even try to compare our lives because each one of us have a different purpose.
• We are to be our own selves and not a copy of someone else… BE YOU, BE UNIQUELY YOU.  
• Be the person God made YOU to be!
• The call of God upon our lives is the provision of God in our lives.
• We do NOT need to come up to the standards of anyone else.
• We should compare ourselves to the person God has called us to be, not comparing ourselves to others.
• Compare to God’s plan and unique design for OUR lives.
• Here’s a biggy: How the Lord chooses to deal with others has nothing to do with our individual call, timing, or direction for us.
• Remember how other people are, what they are doing, what they have, or what happens in their lives… has NO effect on the call of OUR lives.  
• God made you a certain way for a reason.
• You are one of a kind.
• You are NOT a copy.
• You are unique.

To copy others or compare yourself to others is to cheat yourself on the fullest of what God called you to do and be.

So choose to be all that God created you to be.

Remember YOU ARE WHO GOD SAYS YOU ARE!!
