Living Water
Friday’s devotional are Devotions From the Mountains with Lisa Ham. A girlfriend gave me this book on New Years day and thought this would be a great addition to our studies. I like the book because it has outdoor and nature analogies that I can totally relate to. Hope you enjoy it too!
PRAYER FOR TODAY
OH LORD, YOU ARE THE SOURCE OF ALL LIFE. THANK YOU FOR OFFERING YOURSELF TO US. PLEASE FLOW THROUGH ME TODAY. REFRESH AND REPLENISH ME, AND REFRESH OTHERS THROUGH ME.

TODAY’S SCRIPTURES
Psalm 104:10-13 He makes springs pour water into the ravines; it flows between the mountains. They give water to all the beasts of the field; the wild donkeys quench their thirst. The birds of the sky nest by the waters; they sing among the branches. He waters the mountains from his upper chambers; the land is satisfied by the fruit of his work.
Jeremiah 2:13 “My people have committed two sins: They have forsaken me, the spring of living water, and have dug their own cisterns, broken cisterns that cannot hold water.
John 7:37-39 On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.” By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified.
