Letting Go of EVERYTHING

TODAY’S SCRIPTURES

Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

Matthew 23:27 Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean.

QUESTIONS TO THINK AND PRAY ON

  1. What did Nathan confront David about – go back 2 Samuel 12:1-4
  2. Do you think it was easy for Nathan to confront David? Why or why not?
  3. Can you think of anyone you know that may have the gift of prophecy? Reflect back on things they may have said that offended you. Pray about whether or not they indeed confronted with the truth.
  4. Everyone needs at least one Nathan (Natalie) in her life!
  5. What was the biggest nuggets you learned these past few weeks about cleansing?

TODAY’S SUMMARY

God uses people, especially prophets, to draw our attention to unconfessed sin.

Do not despise the prophets in your life. Welcome and be grateful for those bold enough to confront you with your sins.
