CATHY’S THOUGHTS PROVERBS 8:12-21
Verses 12-13 wisdom gives us the ability to govern or discipline ourselves with reason, wisdom gives us great knowledge to make the right decisions, and wisdom gives us the ability to act according to our own choices. Wisdom also helps us to hate what God hates; evil, pride, and arrogance. It teaches us to recognize this in ourselves.
Verses 14-16 Biblical wisdom gives us power (God’s power), wisdom gives us Gods counsel and direction, wisdom gives us sound judgment, wisdom gives us the ability to see things that others miss.
Verses 17-19 wisdom will take care of you if you seek her!! Wisdom brings, riches, honor, enduring wealth and prosperity. Wisdom is more precious and valuable than gold or silver; or any other commodities in this day in age.
Verses 19-21 wisdom will help us walk the right path and it will keep us close to the Lord. Wisdom will allow us to live forever with the Lord…
TODAY’S SCRIPTURES PROVERBS 8:12-21
Verses 12-13 I, wisdom, dwell together with prudence; I possess knowledge and discretion. To fear the Lord is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech.
Verses 14-16 Counsel and sound judgment are mine; I have insight, I have power. By me kings reign and rulers issue decrees that are just; by me princes govern, and nobles—all who rule on earth.
Verses 17-19 I love those who love me, and those who seek me find me. With me are riches and honor, enduring wealth and prosperity. My fruit is better than fine gold; what I yield surpasses choice silver.
Verses 19-21 I walk in the way of righteousness, along the paths of justice, bestowing a rich inheritance on those who love me and making their treasuries full.
