GUIDELINES FOR A GODLY VISION
- Born of God and supported by His word: the bible should CONFIRM your dreams not conflict with it.
- Must be balanced: your vision should take into consideration every aspect of your life.
- Must be part of your heart (you have a passion for it): If your heart is not in something I’d question long and hard if it’s really from God. God gives the passion and drive to to see you through the vision.
- Must be concise, clear, and plain (yet compelling and exciting) The more complicated the vision the harder it will be to stay focused.
HOW TO KEEP THE VISION
- Write it down: visualize it, think about it often and read it out loud daily.
- Thank God for it: for giving you the privilege of having a vision.
- Remember the vision: when you have stumbling blocks and obstacles; remember God gave you the vision before those obstacles!
- Imagine how many lives will be touched: by you living out your God given vision
